[In Search of Bangkok] This year’s study tour is to the fascinating metropolis of Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok is a 200-year human settlement with a traditional name which essentially means “The City of Angels”.

[Blog.louisminson.com] LDMA's Life In The Wor Zone: Thailand Archives: A gentleman by the name of Filco has been cartooning his way around Thailand, this sketches are doing the photocopy rounds at the moment and as far as I know they are not online. They are pretty well observed, if a little OTT, and they certainly made me chuckle more than the "funnies" in the Bangkok Post (does ANYONE find the Wizard of Id funny?)
[Insearchofbangkok.blogsome.com] In Search of Bangkok: Apparently, the new governor of Bangkok (according to Ms Kanokrat Lertchoosakul, from Chulalongkorn University) wants to close down the existing small shops on the Khao San road temporarily to paint all the buildings according to a selected theme (similar colours, designs and so forth). Perhaps it would probably make the place more attractive, but this would be a long time of absence for vendors, which would mean bad news for tourists who apparently have such a liking to this place.
