Wireless.weblogsinc.com[Wireless.weblogsinc.com] For Payment Applications, WiFi Takes it Over Bluetooth - The ...: Interesting viewpoint on the differences between Bluetooth and WiFi, especially when it comes to payment applications. The author’s rationale for favoring WiFi (besides his company’s product offerings are heavily weighted for that technology) is that it offers more security than Bluetooth, noting that WiFi is more advanced, and that Bluetooth may eventually supplanted by ultra-wideband, anyway.
